Having been a Fulbright Scholar in Kathmandu last year, I was fortunate to learn so much about this diverse culture, I visited rural schools tucked away in rural mountainous villages where health and educational opportunities for women and girls were minimal. As a professor of education, I was especially concerned about this situation. And, fortunately, I met someone, a local Nepali, Ms. Silvi Joshi who also recognized the issue and was addressing it. I learned of her passion and dedication in creating GVS as an intervention to remedy this situation. She works tirelessly in her fundraising efforts to create and provide educational programs and resources that help improve the mental health of women and girls of all ages. Her programs are offered in villages where many locals meet and discuss common issues and learn how to resolve them. Kudos to the Golden Vision Society for bringing hope for a better future to all.

As the Founder Principal of Bal Bikas Boarding High School, an institution with over 31 years of academic excellence, I have had the privilege of witnessing the positive impact Golden Vision Society has made on our students. Their commitment to holistic development through career counseling, motivational sessions, and life skill programs has been truly commendable. I recall one particular student who was uncertain about their future after engaging with GVS, he found clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of purpose. The professionalism, sincerity, and student focused approach of the GVS team have left a lasting impression on our school community. Keep on doing god’s job. Best wishes.
